Makes ~10 patties.
In a large bowl, mix:[]
- 2 c bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 c oats
- 1 c wheat germ
- 1 c wheat bran
- 1/2 c cornmeal
- 2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp sage
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 2 tsp dried basil (or 8-10 large fresh leaves)
- pepper
Add processor-buzzed:[]
- 1 c sunflower seeds
- 1 c sesame seeds
Add finely chopped/grated:[]
- 2 c onion
- 2 c carrot (or zucchini)
Add processor-whirled:[]
- 1/4 c parsley (finely chopped)
- 6-8 eggs (or 1 box soft silken tofu & 3 eggs)
- 1 1/2 full presses of garlic
- 2 Tbs tahini (optional)
Fry em up! Or freeze them on waxed paper
