  • 4 c water
  • 1 tsp salt

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 inch stick cinnamon

1/4 tsp cayenne (we use about 1/4 of 1/4)

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 ground coriander

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

6 whole cloves
